The Parish Council and the Church are working together to ensure that the mourning period following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II follows the protocols laid down in Operation London Bridge.
To that end, we have agreed that members of our community may, if they wish, leave flowers in remembrance of Her Majesty in the porch, and on the bench outside the porch, at St Leonard’s Church.
Flowers must not have ribbon or cellophane. Only biodegradable materials should be left, in line with the wishes of Her Majesty, and as set out in the protocols defined for such occasions.
