- Public question. A member of the public came to introduce himself to the Council and register his interest in joining the Parish Council.

The fireworks display was a great success, and the Parish Council would like to thank all involved for organising such a fantastic display.

d. Cllr Jan Andrews Flood working group liaison.
Cllr Andrews and Cllr Crompton organised a meeting at the playing fields for those to come who might be interested in joining the flood working group. 7 residences signed up for flood working group, we are going to set up a WhatsApp group chat for communications when water starts to rise during bad weather
Contacted Richard Williams to see if he would agree to meet the flood working work group to listen to their ideas
Asked Richard Williams to put pressure on Network Rail to clear the tunnel under the railway line and asked if he had number or contact for Wessex water when the culverts raise if we can call to see if the pumping station is working.

a. Clerks report
Proposed by Cllr Crompton, Seconded by Jan Andrews and unanimously agreed that the clerk should have a Parish Council Mobile phone and for a contract of up to £30 month was agreed.
Tree Report – more quotes to be obtained
Clerks contract and job offer to candidate proposed by Sarah Crompton, Seconded by Jan Andrews unanimously agreed along with pay scale point 21. New Clerk will start on Monday 18th November.
