Minety Community Shop went from a popup shop opened to help our community during the first Coronavirus lockdown, to a fully-fledged convenience store in just four months. We are a not for profit organisation but it needs to cover its running costs. We are mainly run by volunteers.
We are open Weekdays 8am-6pm
Saturday 8.30am-2pm
Sunday 9am-1pm.
Bank Holidays 9am – 4pm (unless otherwise advertised).
We are located at the rear of Minety Village Hall, Hornbury Hill, SN16 9QH.
We have a huge range, and something for everybody:
- Store cupboard essentials
- Fresh and frozen produce
- Local Bakery bread and bakery goods
- Local butcher’s fresh meat and products
- Gifts and sweets
- Off licence – including a very popular range of local beers and cider.
- Fresh bean-to-cup coffee and hot drinks
- Fresh locally made sandwiches
- Cakes from Cakesmiths
- Tracklement Condiments
- Ice-creams for those hot, barmy sunny days
We take orders for daily newspapers and magazines, as well as other items that can be ordered for collection from the shop.
Do come along and support your local shop. If every household spent at least £5 a week in the shop, our future would be secure.
