Over the past few months, many of our residents have done an excellent job in ensuring ditches are clear. Not only does this benefit the landowner, but also many land and property owners further upstream, so we can hopefully avoid the bad flooding issues that we have experienced in the past. Below are some photographs of just one location that has been expertly managed.
The parish council will be visiting more properties in the coming weeks to see what progress has been made, and liaising with Wessex Water, Wiltshire Council and the Environment Agency about the current situation and future protection for the village.
